Hello all,
This is Kristina- the newest member of the Canby Democrats (but I live in Oregon City within our shared House District). Congratulations on this fabulous website! It looks like someone has put a lot of time and effort into keeping things up-to-date. I thought it would be a great place for me to formally introduce myself and why I joined the Canby Democrat team.

I work for Clackamas County Water Environment Services as a lab analyst, and until very recently was the Union president for AFSCME 350-4. I loved the work I did with and for the Union. I tell people that being active in the Union and seeing how our politicians REALLY work means that come election time, I don't even have to think when the ballot comes in. I know too much about how our county government works (or, more appropriately unfortunately- doesn't).

Our President, Barack Obama, is the reason I came to the Canby Democrats. After watching the inspiring inauguration ceremony, I marched into the Clackamas County Democrat office and filled out the paperwork to become a PCP. I am ready to funnel all that energy I had used fighting with the Union to the Canby Democrats!
